It was a mod dream to be able to spiff up this corner of The Getup's shop and dressing rooms. Been playing so much with soft watercolor that it was good to get back to the big and bold and poppin' again. I was definitely a lil' rusty since it'd been a bit since I painted anything this large (DUOs murals in 2017 were probably the last time), and it seems like tackling anything significant outside of big boy day job is not the easiest. In a time when Ann Arbor is becoming one large restaurant, it's nice to have a damned fine quality vintage shop like The Getup still around.
